Watching Robinhood Prince of Thieves as we speak. Smile

An underrated movie, in my opinion.

For me, *The Hunt for Red October*

Peter Greenaway's Darwin, on YouTube.  Unfortunately, some racy elements prevent me from recommending it - although it contains great insight into Darwin's era and, as are all Greenaway's features, is visually composed as if by a master painter.

I saw Act of Valor at the base theater.

There was a lot of violence (which is OK to a certain extent) including children being blown up and a woman being tortured (I didn't like that). There wasn't much character development either, so I'd have to give it a thumbs down.

Maybe I'm desensitized, but the violence wasn't that bad. What got me mad was the implicit relativism promoted in the poem at the end.

The violence could've been worse.

I forgot about the letter!

It seemed to me to be military propaganda. I mean, they did force active duty Navy Seals to participate. Another recruitment tool.

I agree. I didn't know that those actors were forced.  Mad
