It wasn't fictional. Thats a true story, including the win-streak. The only thing fictional is they changed the name and appearance of the Jonah Hill character.

Yeah but thats not what the movies about...its about the personalities and hows and whys. The guy played by jonus didnt even want to have anything to do with it. And oakland A's fans supposedly hated it. ME I liked the diaolog and the writing and the intrigue. I think Brad Pitt is underated because of his looks. Oceans 11...fight club....great!

Was the book good, they usually are better because our brains are better movie producers then brad pitt.

It was less fictionalized than the movie, but it was a lot of math and players' names and could get boring in spots. It jumped around in Billy Beane's life and tried to relate incidents in it to his strategy for managing the A's. I thought the movie did a good job of tying together a dry (to me, at least. My brother used to pore over baseball stats every night) subject to an exciting time in baseball history and making it enjoyable for anyone to watch.

Unicorns are real; they're just fat and gray and we call them rhinos.

An hour ago I finished watching "Eye see you" With Stallone and Kristofferson.
Man, DT's can kill an alcoholic when they quit cold turkey.
Interesting.

You should change your screen name to tmw89 on blu ray, seeing as how that's pretty much how all of your posts end.
