if you search on youtube for the song + the word karaoke it will show results with a karaoke slide & the music with back up vocals only. For example, this is the vid I used for mine:

Ok why not....grab an adult beverage (if your of age) go to youtube...pick a karaoke song (or use your game system with Rock Band or Guitar Hero) and make a fool of yourself. No one loses in KARAOKE!

Somehow there's a faculty to video  in some computers - I don't understand it myself - called a web cam.  It makes the most sense for karoke...the karokee-er is facing their screen looking at the lyrics on the youtube of their song (and singing it) while the web cam records their antics. I'd so like to see you do one, Tim. Ask your youngster friends if they'll oblige if you don't havee a web cam, phone cam or cam cam. It's still warm out, maybe you can shimmy up to them on the street and do one right there. It'd be fitting!

I actually used my Motorola defy Phone it has a better mic....then I uploaded it to youtube. I think you will need to upload it to youtube to use it on FE.
