Trad before the term "neo-trad" was invented

« Reply #130 on: September 05, 2011, 09:30:PM »

Well.. couldn't get it to work very well.  The music has a bunch of feedback for some reason.  I guess my laptop is not well-suited for this.

I was having some pretty nasty feedback at first and it kept happening.  I tried staying a bit away from the mic, turning the volume down, adjusting the mic's positioning, moving it away from the computer... and still got the feedback.   And then I realized I had the fan blowing directly at the microphone.   Turning it off solved 90% of the feedback problems.   LOL

Curt Jester your accent on that was perfect are you a guido for real?! Nice going I love Italian Mambo music.... Maybe do Lazy Mary>? ;)

At most, I might have very distant Sicilian, but no, I'm not really a 'Guido'.  I'm more of a 'Taco'.   ;D

And I've not heard of Lazy Mary, but considering the wink, I wonder what it is... I'll have to check it out.

Somebody was talking about Tears for Fears earlier in the thread, and I didn't see any, so I gave it a shot:

Nice song choice.

There you go!  LOL it's our best shot.  Thanks for your suggestion, Master P.  Unfortunately, Curt Jester, although I agreed to your song we just didn't have time for both.  Next time I'm visiting Lydia Grace, perhaps we will record that.

I've never sung for FE or YouTube before.

Oh, and Lydia Grace has a cold, so she wasn't at peak performance.

Enjoy.

This is fab Smile  -- and the Bloopers were great!

Nice job, cgraye.

Now, I didn't post my real voice before, so here it is now.  Again, just the microphone.   Sticking tongue out at you

I messed up on the timing in a couple spots...   Mad
