I have completed the first version of my 1962 iCal calendar; it is hosted at Dropbox; click here to download.  Right now it only has 2011-2013.  I would ask that if you download this version, please help me check for errors, both in spelling and in the celebrations for each day.  Once I'm sure the script I use to make this is working tolerably well, I'll post an English version as well and add more years.

If you're using a Mac, download the file.  When iCal prompts you to add new events, you can either add these events to an existing calendar, or select "New Calendar" from the drop-down menu, which will create a new calendar called "Forma Extraordinaria."

Aquinas, I was going to ask you if you needed help on this.

Thank you so much.  I'm downloading now.  I'll spend the next few days looking at it for errors.  Smile

I'll offer compline for you. At least.  Smile

Thank you.  One note: this is the untouched general calendar.  I plan on putting up a version with the proper feasts for the US as well.

First mistake I have found - the commemoration of the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady on the Friday after Passion Sunday did not show up.  You can correct this by changing the iCal entries' title to "Feria, commemoratio Septem Dolorum B. Mariae Virg." on 4/15/11, 3/30/12, and 3/22/13.  I will be putting up a corrected version soon (v. 1.1).

I've also discovered a problem with the September Ember days in all three years.  I am bunkering down for the hurricane this weekend; I will try and put a corrected version up next week.

So I have made some corrections and changed where this is stored.  It is now hosted as a Google Calendar, and you may subscribe to it in your calendar program.  Last time I did any of this, Google Calendars and iCal didn't play nice; it turns out they do now.  This calendar is the Latin version with the proper US feasts included.  Instructions for subscribing in iCal follow the links.

Address for subscribing in XML-based programs:
https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/5ilcf7l4396t18h2n6g6farj4s%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic

Address for subscribing in iCalendar-based programs:

HTML version.

To subscribe to this calendar in iCal:
1. Go to Calendar > Subscribe
2. Paste the iCalendar address above into the dialogue box that pops up and click Subscribe.
3. Select your Auto-Refresh settings.  I recommend enabling Auto-Refresh, as I will be adding more years to the calendar periodically (right now it is complete through 2013) and making corrections as they are discovered.  I think weekly should be fine.
