My father used to smoke cigars, and when I was about 16 I decided to steal one of his Montecristo No. 2s and smoke it in the bathroom before my parents got home. Unfortunately, I hadn't realised that one does not inhale cigar smoke into the lungs, and smoked the thing as if it were a cigarette. I was struggling to stand straight when I finished it. Cigars definitely do give a nicotine "buzz".

 LOL

I made that mistake the first time too.

The man who does not have enough of loving Christ will never have enough of fighting against those who hate Christ.
-St. John Chrysostom

I thank God that I live in a day when the enemy is outside the Church, and I know where he is and what he is up to. But, I foresee a day when the enemy will be both outside and inside the Church . . . and I pray now for the poor faithful who will be caught in the crossfire.

Mine was with dipping snuff. I was hanging out with some older guys who didn't spit. Nobody told me that, as a newbie, it would be a good idea. Cheapest drunk I've ever been on! LOL In the ensuing years, I've long since quit spitting when I dip and, in fact, can now drink my pint over a dip with no problem!

I always forget that you men in the land of the free aren't allowed to buy Cuban cigars... even when you're abroad.

It's the price we pay for the benefit of winning the Cold War.

The belief that we've won the Cold War is a grand delusion. Communism is alive and well. We'll see....

Cigars are just better, hands down. I'm sorry but it's just a fact of life.
