Dudes, how about instead of chiding women to dress modestly, we just stop complaining and combat the vices we face through greater devotion to the BVM. In this way, we will strive to treat women with greater chivalry and respect out of our devotion to her--and it will become all the easier to refrain from sins of impure thought when our pious efforts are bolstered by our Lady's efficacious intercession.

In short, if we simply face facts about the challenges of living in the modern world and address them in a godly way, then in doing so we will fortify our souls and gain ground along our individual roads to Heaven.
Yes!  I have noticed, even in myself, that getting angry about all the temptation in the world only serves to increase that temptation.  As Christians we should strive to reach out with loving acceptance towards individuals who suffer from fallen human nature, in other words, sinners like us.

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.– Buddha

Note: According to this precept, I find that Buddhism is NOT true.  I have tested and judged many things, and the only Truth I have found is in God's One True Church: The Catholic Church.

Dear Lord, I know I can live by Your Holy Will every moment of my life, because You have given me faith that Your Grace will enable me to.

There is a serious problem of modesty in the world because the world no longer sees itself as made in the image and likeness of God or as existing for the glory of God. Instead, it sees itself as existing for its own sake--for its own good pleasure.

But I think the strain is involved not in complaining solely about how the pagan world dresses but in trying to help traditional Catholics--whether they be male or female--not to add to the problem by conforming to this global anomie.

"The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative magisterium" (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum, no.  9, June 29, 1896).

“Wherefore, brethren, labour the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election. For doing these things, you shall not sin at any time” (2 Peter 1:10).

That is a YES. "Global anomie." You sound like me! Sticking tongue out at you Smile

Clothes don't make or unmake a person, but ideally should characteristically manifest their own, deep-down, distinct God-given nature and personality (within the boundaries of the Lex Principialis).

Dude... That is called absurd, double-layered self-irony... Being innocently jesting is not the problem, is it?

I travel on the good side of "insanity"... Smile

You wear a mask and shroud during the day and chain mail armor at night to sleep?

Alright, you can annoy the women by admonishing them to dress modestly, and I'll stick with invoking others who I know are holier and better suited than I to aid them instead.

Your quirky posting style is kinda reminiscent of Rosarium’s…
