i dont think that eskimo costume is very realistic....you might end up losing your legs wearing that out in the cold

I don't think realism was one of the criteria in planning the costumes...ahem.

Given how contentious modesty threads have been here in the past this thread seems like it is asking for trouble.

Well, considering that the forum owner started it, I don't think we need to worry about it being locked! LOL

It could happen  LOL

I always wondered why, at this time of year, men can find almost any costume they want.

Buy the wymins could only get slutty (fill in the blank) costumes?

"You've come a long way,Baby!"  NOT.

Type the word "sexy" into the search box for PartyCity.com, and you get 776 search results. Type in the word "scary," and there are only 287. What was once the scariest night of the year is now the sexiest, with many adults choosing fishnets and heels over fake blood and ghostly pallor. And costume retailers have figured out how to make almost anything sexy.

there is also a poll on the site that asks how you dress for halloween, sexy or scary and 60% said sexy....however the poll isnt limited to just women and i have a feeling there is a very little number of men voting sexy....i would think if it was limited to women the number would be higher then 60%

Sex sells and it will always sell.

The costume designers know what they're doing.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)

"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome

"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

They even sell this stuff at Wal-Mart, that bastion of traditional American decency.

Like someone else said, I find it humorous women think this is empowering.  What's so empowering or liberating about turning a man's base desires on?  Aren't you more than just a body?  Don't you have brains to be proud of too?
