Haha Adam Wayne what a small world we live in! I thought the homilist was absolutely amazing! That was the most solid, orthodox, I'm-not-going-to-water-anything-down homily I have ever heard. I was particullarly pleased with his condemnation of the Spanish Republican government as

Marxist and Masonic. Never before had I had the pleasure of seeing those two abomidable beasts condemned! And everyone absolutely loved the Mass!! The only "complaint" I heard on the way home was that it was a bit difficult to follow along, since many of the prayers Fr. says he

whispers. However, as one girl (who attends the Tridentine Mass exclusively) said it does get easier over time. And I think part of the difficulty lay in having small paper missals and then a seperate booklet for the propers of the day that we had with us. Continually flipping between the two is

a bit of a challenge if its your first time. Even I havent gotten used to it yet!  LOL

But yes, the homilist was amazing, the Mass was amazing, and everyone loved it. It caused two of my closest friends to decide to go to the Tridentine Mass with me every Sunday, and one of them, who happens to be my Big Brother on campus, basically agrees with me that we should

have a High Solemn Mass in the Basilica since we still have the original High Altar. God willing, we'll be able to work something out with Campus Ministry.  Pray

Deo Gratias!, to what I have highlighted in bold above. Yes, he was an amazing homilist. Don't be a stranger. Whenever you find yourself in Chicago, find your way there.

I would also highly recommend Tennabrae Service there on Spy Wednesday if at all possible for you.
