When my children were around that age we said that there is a special kind of cuddling that married people do.  When the situation required it we could refer to this concept to explain other things.  Sometimes God uses this "special married cuddling" to make babies grow inside the wife.   Sometimes people who are not married do  this "special married cuddling" but that is bad and leads to problems.

I am not sure what you should do. I never had a "talk" about it, and found out what it was by looking in a dictionary in the 8th grade. That is not the way I would want my children to find out. Surely the many Catholic parents here can offer advice.
