Nobody said that did. Vatican II and subsequent Popes have taught that they have a right not to be preventing from praticing their faith if the common good does require surpression

That's clear as mud. 

What about Jehovah Witnesses who evangelize door to door?  May they be legally stopped from doing that?

Yes, unless greater harm would result from it. This freedom from coercion is in the service of truth; to find Jesus a certain freedom is needed

I don't think the liberal politicians and prelates who helped enact new religious freedom laws after Vatican II were interested in helping others find Jesus.  The results in places like Quebec and Spain speak for themselves.
