Hey all, thanks for the prayers!  Natalie was born 5:33 pm on Christmas Eve. Mom is doing great!

Baby was in well nursery at first but unfortunately had to go to he NICU for oxygen and observation. Very high probability it's not serious, but. Continued prayers are appreciated.

PS: she is gorgeous!

Congrats NYC!  We will have to keep in touch since my litle boy Nicholas was born last week.  Maybe we can work out  one of those Trad Catholic arranged marriages for our kids.  Our grandkids would be truly "catholic", as in racially universal: Indian, Colombian, English, Croatian, Italian, Armenian, Filipino and Chinese.  And mixed race kids are way cute.  Grin

"The Catholic priest is simultaneously the victim offered on the altar.  All the older, traditional ceremonies of the Roman Rite underscore this foundational dimension of the Mass. If we don’t see that relationship of priest, altar, and victim in every Holy Mass, then the way Mass has been celebrated has failed.  If we don’t look for that relationship, then we are not really Catholic.  Mass is Calvary."

Another update: brought baby home about 30-something hours ago. It is awesome being a parent. So much fun.

And exhausting, but totally worth it. Suggestion: we prayed for all babies in NICUs and their families - consider adding this to your prayer intentions.
