They were a 9-7 regular season team that battled and fought tooth and nail for five straight wins including three playoff wins.
They beat the heavily favored Green Bay Packers, and just tonight they beat the San Francisco Forty-Niners in overtime.
They are going to the Superbowl.
Eli Manning is one of the toughest, never say die, smart quaterbacks in the league.

Go Giants!

Brady-Eli, Pats-Giants, rematch of Superbowl XLII, all I can say is.....

Prepare to be GRONKED!!!  Grin

I wouldn't be so confident. If any team should have won the Superbowl, its the 18-0 2008 Patriots. That was a choke.

I'm not gonna make excuses, but this one hurt. I will get over it eventually. I just wanna say, twice. This happened twice. Same thing happens, field goal in the same goal post.

I am mad at Kyle Williams, but am not foolish enough like others who wish him death or violence. In the end, its just a game. I will say a prayer for Kyle Williams, that he be free from all harm bodily, mental, and spiritual. If a team cannot convert on 3rd down, they won't win in the NFL.

Both Eli Manning and Tom Brady grew up Catholic, in fact Brady's dad is a deacon, don't know if they practice their faith though, anybody know?

I watched the game and was very impressed by both teams. It's a shame someone had to lose. I'm not impressed with the Giants' regular-season record, but they had a very tough schedule and some injury problems (sort of like the Packers last year). They sure are playing well lately. I was especially impressed with Eli Manning -- he was getting the crap beat out of him by the 49ers' pass rush, but he just "took a lickin' and kept on tickin'!" I think the Patriots will have their hands full. Should be a good Super Bowl.

By the way, does anyone else think that the Ravens were robbed of a touchdown near the end of the AFC Championship game? I thought the guy clearly had possession before they knocked the ball out of his hands. I guess he didn't have it long enough, but I would have called it a catch and a touchdown -- and I'm not even a Ravens fan (I was rooting for the Patriots).

Yes.  the ravens should have won.   :(

No he didn't have possession. If he did there surely would have been a challenge. In order to have possession you have to have control of the ball and make a "football move." Meaning he would have either had to go to the ground with the ball or actually have possession and take a step which he clearly did not do. Let's face it, when your field goal kicker chokes on a chip shot field goal...you deserve to lose.

There's more to "should have won" than a blown call.

Giants suck...now it's get even time for ruining our 19-0 season!
Revenge time.
4 years ago, the Pats walked onto the field as though the game was going to be easily won. Not this time.
Brady will be ready to grab ring #4.

Sure hope so. That would put him up there with Bradshaw and Montana.......where he belongs.

People often forget, that he had three rings by the age of 27!!
He won his first NFL MVP at 30 - 2007, and was 33 when he won his 2nd MVP.
But no rings since the age of 27. In 2 weeks, I hope for that to change.
