Yum! I LOVE your retro-y tablecloth, too!

Hahaha, thanks. It's actually not even retro-y. My mom bought it probably 2 decades ago and gave it to me recently, when she came across it in a box! So it's vintage retro? Or just old crap- who knows?  Grin

My mom makes the best pierogi Smile

We roll small balls of dough out in the pasta machine to make circles, then she puts potato in them and makes them into half-circles.  Our family usually cooks them for Christmas and Easter, it is a celebratory thing.

I tried getting a pasta machine once and it didn't work out for me. I should've gotten a different brand perhaps.

Home made pasta is good no?

It's so tender and delicate. Once you get the dough worked out to the right consistency, it's easy peasy. It doesn't take very long, especially when you are not interrupted by a million little kids!
