I won't be participating, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else participate.

I won't be participating, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else participate. Do you have Rose's permission not to participate? And for all those saying Donna will win, you can't use that as an excuse not to sign up. I've seen several people respond in this thread - people who have done karaoke tracks already. Surely you can join in! Also, edit to the rules. Just sending in an entry will gain the person some points for that round. That way nobody will ever be stuck at zero if they at least do something.

I think this is too complicated. People are not going to have time to go through ten rounds of this. Also, the diverse content is a problem. I don't even know songs from all of those genres and I can't really be bothered to learn some just to participate. Why does this even need to be a contest? There could just be theme karaoke things once in a while for people who are interested. At the very least, this needs to wait until rose has her baby so she can drink heavily and participate.

One. I already stated that songs can be pre-recorded. Would ten rounds be a problem if people only had five days in advance to do each one? Yes. Supposed a person has 60 days to do all ten? That's considerably easier. As for the diversity of songs, it's quite obvious why I chose it since I already explained it in the rules. I don't think I need to bother explaining it yet again.

I had actually decided to do a song for the karaoke thread without the help of alcohol, but I never got around to it. Now I'm so fat that I would be embarrassed to put up a video of myself. And I still can't drink alcohol (at least the amount I need to get drunk) while nursing, so the competition would have to be put off for a year or so if I were going to participate. Sorry.

Do people even read the original thread?! A video isn't required.

Supposed a person has 60 days to do all ten? That's considerably easier. Kind of, but that's still stretching it, at least for me. And the longer it takes, the more momentum and interest is lost in the contest. As for the diversity of songs, it's quite obvious why I chose it since I already explained it in the rules. I don't think I need to bother explaining it yet again.
I understand all that, I'm just pointing out that I don't think it's going to be very practical. I mean, the participants in this would be a subset of the original karaoke thread participants as it is.

But by then you might be pregnant again and the whole thing will start over. Wait a second, I just realized something...you can NEVER DRINK AGAIN

Do people even read the original thread?! A video isn't required. If you are referring to my post, I was talking about putting up a video in the original karaoke thread. But, video or not, I am pretty shy about singing in front of strangers, so I won't be participating in this competition. Sorry for the confusion.
