This is something to be VERY proud of Old Salt.
My "response pg." says almost the same thing:
"Your account has been locked for the following reason:
pitting the EF Mass against the OF. Mass"
This change will be lifted: Never,

I denied that the TLM is racist.  I said if Aztecs and Vikings could learn Latin, then Koreans could learn it also.  Eternal damnation for
"lack of charity!"  The thread was on the "traditional catholic" subforum, no less.

Getting banned from CAF is like CCD for FEs.  Once you get banned there, it's proof that you're orthodox enough to survive here!

What is interesting is that few current CAF members seems to post here to test their notions in the crucible.   Boxers

Very revealing, as the old Molson's Ale ad used to say.

The traditional Catholicism sub-forum on CAF is not a place for traditional Catholics to hang out and support each other like we have here.  On FE there are significant areas of common agreement.  This is not the case on CAF.  The TC sub-forum is for people to discuss traditional Catholicism and often these people are hostile to it.  This probably includes the moderators.

I was shocked to see that the official CAF position (as expressed by their apologists) is that Catholics should not attend Mass celebrated by SSPX priests.  They seem to think that the CA apologists have more authority than the Ecclesia Dei Commission.

I think that just about any FE member would be distressed and/or angered by what happens there.  I suggest that anyone who posts there think of it in terms as missionary work or a chance to practice one's apologetics skills.

Good post, Jayne. This is why I go there. I figure my 2 cents must help balance things at least a little.

"The Catholic priest is simultaneously the victim offered on the altar.  All the older, traditional ceremonies of the Roman Rite underscore this foundational dimension of the Mass. If we don’t see that relationship of priest, altar, and victim in every Holy Mass, then the way Mass has been celebrated has failed.  If we don’t look for that relationship, then we are not really Catholic.  Mass is Calvary."

I looked at it as missionary work.
CAF has a problem with hearing the truth.

This whole episode is ridiculous, and shows the mindset some Neo-cons or whatever one wishes to call them have.

Fr. R. is in "full communion, regularized" etc. but the neo-Caths still say that he is "at odds" with his ordinary, was disciplined, etc. What is he at odds with? What if its a secular matter, or was disciplined for an honest mistake? The Novus Ordinarians make no reference to that, and to quote the next contest we will be having, swallow hook, line and sinker everything even the liberal local bishops say. This is worse than neo-trads, since they call everyone from the local pastor to Card. Kasper a heretic but don't wish to say so about a pope for emotional reasons.

These types are worse, and this is truly sad.

Tell me novus ordinarians, what does "disciplined" mean? Our parish priest in the 70's was disciplined for being an alcoholic (he sometimes said Mass drunk), and he was enrolled in a program. So does something like that, a personal problem, mean that everything a priest says is wrong? Truly unbelievable. They have to find any sort of loophole to resist traditional criticism of their new concilliar ways. He was disciplined, in a dispute with bishop, etc etc.

Well, I know several priests who are in complete "good standing," never had their faculties revoked, and essentially hold SSPX positions. What shall the Nordites say to them? What a joke.

The CAF type of "Catholic" has been conditioned to hate traditionals and all things not VII.    When the time comes to round us all up into camps, they will be helping the enemy do so by turning us in.

Think I'm kidding?  Just wait and see.

There is a Fransiscan Brother there who slipped and admitted the NO is a different theology of the Mass. When it was pointed out he said it ........... it was fun watching him tap dance.  LOL

I know who you are talking about..........& he is a REAL favorite with the liberals. I would have loved to see him try to get out of that.

Sure they will.   And they will believe they are doing "good" by allowing us a  one last chance to reject  Jesus Christ & His Church.   All of these posts here demonstrate this by having one common theme which essentially says it is OK to harass all who stand for  Holy Catholic Tradition;  but,  those who stand for Holy Catholic Traditions must  not state their foundational positions which extend back to Jesus Christ.  Why because they are building on sand and their foundations are swept away by any close examination & scrutiny.

God Bless You All  & May Our Lord Jesus Christ  Guide & Steer Us Through These Times,
