As an Easter treat, I can tell you that I'm picking Nashville. If they can get past Detroit, who are the ultimate modern playoff machine, then no reason why they can't hoist the Cup. Their goalie Pekka Rinne helped me win $125 in two pools this year, placing 2nd and 3rd out of over a dozen players. I saw a match in Nashville with him in nets in January 2009 and he's really come of age as a first-class netminder. The fans in the stands were super-knowledgeable and it was so nice to be surrounded by hockey talk in a Tennessee accent.

A drawback is that Rinne played 73 games so he may get fatigued like Nabokov did with the Sharks in the past.

Speaking of the Sharks, they may look good on paper like the Canucks but they haven't proven to be playoff warriors in the same way as the Bruins or Penguins. If Crosby can remain healthy, I can see Pittsburgh going to the final.

Bobby G., I love that meme! This gives me a great lead-in to connect two of my most beloved entertainment properties (other than hockey): Catholic Stephen Colbert and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic...
