I would like to see a brokered convention...first of all...I am not at all excited about Romney and second of all...it would make great TV to watch the RINO establishment squirm like little girls at a Justin Bieber concert.

I'm with you, Peter, but I doubt it'll happen.

Shoot, even my dad (a middle-of-the-road Protestant) wants to see an interesting convention, although I think he'd be terrified to see anyone as "far right" as Ron Paul win.

An interesting convention is all we have left really because on election night your options are either get drunk or go to bed early. And as a devout Catholic I can hardly recommend drunkenness and going to bed before sunset merely encourages sloth.  Hopefully, the networks will have numerous cameras in Florida so we can all watch the stupid expatriate New York Jews trying to figure out the ballot.  That's worth a few laughs anyway.

Well...I am rethinking my opposition to Ron Paul based on him not being pro life because of his support for contraceptives. I have thought it out and that's really a stupid reason not to support him. So what am I going to do? Support Mitt Romney who also favors contraceptives and has been less than honest on his supposed pro life position? I do believe that Romney would be slightly better than Obama...but Ron Paul would be a lot better than either of them. I don't know if Ron Paul has a chance to pull this out...but I am routing for him.

Just like Ron Paul jumping on the Romney bandwagon??? There was a story on the local news tonight about the Maine Republican convention happening tomorrow and they said that Ron Paul supporters were planning on "taking over" the convention but they said the Chairman of the Ron Paul national campaign e-mailed Paul supporters and told them to get behind Romney because this is a very important election.
