Do you mean to tell me that Happy Days was set in Wisconsin?  I may have to reevaluate my childhood.

Set in the Midwestern city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Days

Yup!

Shocked  How could I have gone all these years without knowing?

How indeed.  I can't fathom how anyone could watch Happy Days and not know it was set in Milwaukee.  And filmed before a live audience.  I mean, they mention it in practically every episode!

Children have the ability to block traumatic information from their minds.  That's the only explanation.

When does this course start?  Keep in mind with the recall election that Milwaukee could be hot, esp. since the guy running against Walker is the mayor of Milwaukee.  So be prepared to encounter lots of union thugs being brought in from out of state, or at least lots or rabid liberals with communist propaganda.

Milwaukee is grand. It reminds me of a slightly smaller version of Chicago before it became world class. We had a hot shot salesman up there, and he'd entertain us when we came up. You could walk around downtown and the scale was human. Food is very good especilly if you like sausages. I used to go up there to see Michael Jordan and the Bulls because it was more accessible than down here. I love beer so for me I could do a pub crawl there by walking. The best part is they are friendly toward us wicked chicagoans.

Where are you taking your course?  Is it like, Marquette?  Or some place else?  .

I'm not sure exactly where it is held.  It's in West Milwaukee I think.  It is the course run by Fr. Foster (former Vatican Latinist).  He is pretty famous among Latin enthusiasts.

It would be in the summer of 2013.  It will not work for me to go this summer.  I'm not even sure about next summer, but my husband is encouraging me.  He says that the children are old enough to leave for that long and that he can manage everything.

Gotcha. Is it at this address?
3553 South 41st St Apt. 403 Milwaukee, Wisconsin – 53221-5744

Because I know that area decently well (I lived near there!)

If so, you probably might call Alverno College which is right near the area.  It's an all-women's college, and they might offer housing for the summer.  Or, you could contact them and see if anyone sublets their apartment for housing.  If you want, PM me and I can give you some info on the different neighborhoods of Milwaukee and what would be best for your situation in the summer (like if you'll have a car or whatnot).

And while she's at it, she may want to consider buying a bazooka for personal safety and laying bear traps in front of her door.  Perhaps you can recommend a good place to pick those up?

Perhaps you should be advising the people of Milwaukee of ways they can keep safe from me.   Crazy!

Here's a little thought, maybe a meet up in Milwaukee when Jayne's there. We could teach her to enjoy Miller's High Life and shots.

hehehe

Jayne, be careful in dealing with Fr. Foster. He may be the world's greatest living Latinist, but his views are extremely offensive. There is a video of him with Bill Maher at the Vatican, some of the things he say are blasphemous and heretical. See for yourself (warning: heresies)

I would also see this:
