This part is very interesting:
Quote
Well, the Pope has let us know that his concern to settle our affair for the good of the Church was at the very heart of his pontificate, and that he also knew that it would be easier both for him and for ourselves to leave things as they presently stand.
What happens AFTER the agreement will be very interesting.  Again, what will the FSSP, ICKSP, and IBP do?  Can they join up and form a de facto Latin Rite?  Do they get bishops?  What will Pope Benedict do next?  He will have a very strong position in France.  Gives me hope.

"That one simple question, whether Jesus of Nazareth was God Incarnate, becomes increasingly decisive between people, as history moves forward. .... The answer to this question cuts into human ties and seems to reflect even on the nature of inanimate things.  What if:  all that is folly in the eyes of the Greeks, and scandal in the eyes of the Jews, ... is Truth?"

And there was no doubt about it -- towards Him we had been running, or from Him we had been running away, but all the time He had been in the center of things.

The French of the Vendee could have taken Paris.  I believe +Fellay will not repeat their mistake.  I hope he is Pope some day.

Actually, he has the ability to be pope someday.  My brothers and I have talked fondly of the eventuality for the last few years.  May God make it so!

I have a similar wish, only it's Bishop Williamson as Pope.

Fellay is actually pretty young (53). God willing he lives many more years, it isn't something off the table, especially if some of these decisions of these time are looked upon as momentous in a positive direction. John XXIII didn't become Cardinal until he was 72! But let's stick to our times. We're already speculating enough with what we have now.

Therefore, we who are receiving the unshakable kingdom should have gratitude, with which we should offer worship pleasing to God in reverence and awe. For our God is a consuming fire.
