They are going to constantly come across mixed teams if they play team sports with other non Trad or secular schools.

Those schools are going out of their way to be inclusive with the same energy the SSPX schools put into being exclusive.

What were they expecting to happen?

Why set up a school in Boondockville to escape the evils of the world and then play all the local secular schools at sports?

We don't want anything to do with your stinking, liberal secular culture but we are happy to play your hellbound spawn at baseball (provided they are all of the same sex).

Agreed.

Secular schools do not play by the same rules as SSPX.

Anyone notice how many times Bishop Fellay used the word "reality" in his letter? Some SSPXers are in another planet, and can go there with bells on IMO. Crazy stuff.

In SSPX schools, there are no co-ed sports although there are girls attending the school.  I think it is wise for those schools to not play teams with mixed boys and girls.

Sorry but i taught in a sspx school and boys and girls played all kinds of sports together. It was great. It's one of the few fond memories I have of  teaching there, as opposed to playgrounds/ sports in other schools where even boys aren't allowed to make physical contact with each other. It seems like there are different "sspx"es all around the world? Smile

That's true.  A lot depends on the clique the district superior supports and how snickers it is.

SSPX varies a lot around the world.

Which school did you teach at? You're Australian if I remember correctly?

Just sayin' that in High School it is usually illegal to railroad catchers, and in the 3 years that I witnessed of HS baseball, double plays were rare. So taking out the 2B would not usually be an option.

Sports aren't supposed to be mixed. Males compete against males, females against females.

I think that when you're dealing with competitive sports (professional or non-professional) it's best to keep the sexes segregated as a matter of justice and integrity of the competition. Men compete against men, women against women. It's simple and it has worked thus far. If, however, we're just playing for fun, then certainly there's no harm in mixing it up.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)

"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome

"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

And to think they are probably going to join up with NewChurch and their female "altar" servers.

Do they serve overhand or underhand?

Silly question.  Modernists are always underhanded.
