Now Facebook founders are giving the sods money to fight for sodomite marriages in Maine... http://www.wgme.com/template/inews_wire/wires.regional.me/2e443451-www.wgme.com.shtmlIn Maine NewsFB co-founder giving up to $100K for gay marriageMay 14, 2012 16:07 GMT PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -- One of the co-founders of Facebook and his partner are giving up to $100,000 to supporters of a referendum to legalize same-sex marriage in Maine. Democratic activists Chris Hughes and Sean Eldridge say they'll match donations up to $100,000 over the next four weeks. Mainers United for Marriage, which hopes to raise $25,000 a week during the period, is leading the campaign for the November referendum. Eldridge says he hopes their support "will motivate others to invest in the campaign." Hughes is publisher and editor-in-chief of The New Republic, in addition to helping to found Facebook. Eldridge is president of Hudson River Ventures and senior adviser to Freedom to Marry.

The real story is that Mark Zuckerberg stands to make $100 Billion on the IPO.
Maybe FE ought to go public. If Facebook can sell stock in a message board to that amount, FE must be worth a couple of billion.
Alas, Vox, is probably not a part of the club.
Imaginary friends are worth a lot more money than I ever dreamed. Always thought they were basically worthless.

Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.
A new commandment I give unto you: That you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.
Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words. St. Francis Assisi
He who does not embrace the teaching of the Church does not have the habit of faith. St. Thomas Aquinas
Heretics think false things about God and call it their faith. St. Augustine
But what is also to the point, let us note that the very tradition, teaching, and faith of the Catholic Church from the beginning was preached by the Apostles and preserved by the Fathers. On this the Church was founded; and if anyone departs from this, he neither is, nor any longer ought to be called, a Christian. St. Athanasius

I don't really use FB too much. Most of my friends on there are Mormons, if you can believe it. Though I have been considering just leaving it. Anyone know of a Catholic friendly alternative site?

There's no such thing as "same sex marriage." Marriage is between one man and one woman. Period.
We are what you once were. We believe what you once believed. We worship as you once worshipped. If you were right then, we are right now. If we are wrong now, you were wrong then.
There is nothing more necessary to the survival of the Church than the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass; to hide it from sight is to shake the foundations of the Church. The whole Christian, religious, priestly life rests on the Cross, on the Holy Sacrifice of the Cross renewed on the altar. --- Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
I beg you to pray for priests, most especially those on the road to Hell. They do not enter there alone, but with thousands of others that have followed them.

But Petey, if you leave Facebook won't Britney and Miley and Chloe, et. al. be upset? They might think you de-friended them. That would so sad. :(

I was under the impression that canceling Facebook was impossible. That the account was there till civilization and it's power grid collapse.

Indeed - you cannot delete the account, just lock it....however...
They rely on their users' information as commodity...if there were all of a sudden loads of false accounts with bogus info, the value of their information would go down dramatically...
