1 and 10 are right.  #3: not McBrain (in another photo he looks more like Dickenson actually); think 70's rock band.

O.K.  I'll give some hints.

2.  This band played one of the most recognizable Vietnam War songs around.

3.  Hang around with this band too much and your morals might degrade, you might even become a vagabond, because they're ____________

4.  Collaborated with Henry Mancini for shows such as Peter Gunn and the musical West Side Story

5.  Played drums with the band that has a song that begins with the lyrics: "You know the day destroy the night/ Night divides the day/ Try to run/ Try to Hide/ ___________"

6.  Played drums on THE greatest jazz album of all time.

7.  Played funk jazz with a musician who has Hancock in his name.

8.  Famous draft dodging band who fled to Canada during Vietnam.

9.  Made a great album with Clifford Brown, and worked with Miles Davis too.

5. John Densmore
6. Jimmy Cobb

(Though I kindly challenge your assertion that Kind of Blue is the best jazz album of all time).

5 and 6 are correct.

As for kind of blue, on most "greatest" lists its first, so I just based my hint on that.

#2 is Neil Peart.

More hints.

2 "It ain't me/ It ain't me/ I ain't no fortunate _________"

3.  _____  Co.

4.  A real Manne

7.  Head-hunting cannibals

8.  Some members of this band went on to form BTO.

9.  Played on Miles Davis' "Birth of the Cool" album, including the song "Move."

Now, with all the hints I given combined, somebody should figure this out.
