Grey hair is due to a deficiency in vitamins and minerals, it can reversed if you eat extremely healthy.

Oh man, Fr. Relyea, I listened to this a couple years ago, this is some of the best preaching I've ever heard. If this doesn't scare you, I don't know what will.

I always liked the the idea of all things being transfigured in Christ at the end. By this I don't mean that everyone is saved but that all of fallen Creation will be transfigured in Christ at the end. Perhaps this is what the whole "new earth" is all about. Whenever I'm in a contemplative mood and out in the natural world I like to contemplate what all the various trees, animals, flowers etc. might be like if completely transfigured and renewed in the light of the Holy Trinity. I once read something where this monk was saying that the world as Adam saw it and the world as it will be is like a beautiful painting or a statue but the way we see it today it's as if the painting or the statue where broken in pieces and we only see the fragments. We can still pick up a small piece of a beautiful statue or a painting that's broken and see the traces of that beauty through lines, colors, etc but we only catch glimpses of it. In the end, should we get to Heaven, we will see the whole picture, the whole statue and we will behold what they look like in God. In a certain sense there is much beauty to be found even here in this place of our exile. How much more will it be in our place of final refuge, Heaven?

Walk before God in simplicity, and not in subtleties of the mind. Simplicity brings faith; but subtle and intricate speculations bring conceit; and conceit brings withdrawal from God. -Saint Isaac of Syria, Directions on Spiritual Training

"It is impossible in human terms to exaggerate the importance of being in a church or chapel before the Blessed Sacrament as often and for as long as our duties and state of life allow. I very seldom repeat what I say. Let me repeat this sentence. It is impossible in human language to exaggerate the importance of being in a chapel or church before the Blessed Sacrament as often and for as long as our duties and state of life allow. That sentence is the talisman of the highest sanctity. "Father John Hardon

Do you have any favourite thoughts about Heaven?
Contemplating the Beatific Vision for all eternity, ever present.  That is true happiness.

"And who do you say that I Am?"
"That one simple question, whether Jesus of Nazareth was God Incarnate, becomes increasingly decisive between people, as history moves forward. .... The answer to this question cuts into human ties and seems to reflect even on the nature of inanimate things.  What if:  all that is folly in the eyes of the Greeks, and scandal in the eyes of the Jews, ... is Truth?"

And there was no doubt about it -- towards Him we had been running, or from Him we had been running away, but all the time He had been in the center of things.
