Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.
A new commandment I give unto you: That you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.
Preach the Gospel at all times. If necessary, use words. St. Francis Assisi
He who does not embrace the teaching of the Church does not have the habit of faith. St. Thomas Aquinas
Heretics think false things about God and call it their faith. St. Augustine
But what is also to the point, let us note that the very tradition, teaching, and faith of the Catholic Church from the beginning was preached by the Apostles and preserved by the Fathers. On this the Church was founded; and if anyone departs from this, he neither is, nor any longer ought to be called, a Christian. St. Athanasius

Quarter-finals:
Germany-Greece Czech Republic-Portugal Spain-France England-Italy
It is basically all the countries that need a bail out left. The krauts will win I expect.

"THE LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 26:1)
"And we, too, being called by His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified by ourselves, nor by our own wisdom, or understanding, or godliness, or works which we have wrought in holiness of heart; but by that faith through which, from the beginning, Almighty God has justified all men; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." — Clement, bishop of Rome
"I love truth," says he, "and not sects. I am sometimes a peripatetic, a stoic, or an academician, and often none of them; but—always a Christian. To philosophise is to love wisdom; and the true wisdom is Jesus Christ. Let us read the historians, the poets, and the philosophers; but let us have in our hearts the gospel of Jesus Christ, in which alone is perfect wisdom and perfect happiness." — Petrarch

I'd like Greece to win, might cheer them up a bit, but I think Germany probably will.

Germany are clear favourites and will win 9 out of 10 games against Greece. But in football there's always a chance for the underdog and an unexpected result might happen. I'm rooting for the Greeks. Their national coach is Portuguese, Fernando Santos.

Shame the Croats couldnt sneak past the Italians into the quarters we do ok for a country of around 4 million. Have always liked France due to Zizou but expect them to be beaten and probably convincingly by Spain, Les Bleus have had a massive spiritual void since ZZ retired. Germany always look strong and play well under pressure played good attacking football at the WC 2010 and were unlucky they lost Muller for the semi against Spain, he was tearing the comp up.

Euro 2012: Germany vs Greece (second quarter-final) - As it happened Germany 4-2 Greece Greece ended their run in the Euro 2012 after losing 2-4 against Gemany in a high-scoring second quarterfinal match on Friday. Germany found four different names on the score sheet after Philipp Lahm, Sami Khedira, Miroslav Klose, and Marco Reus gave Germany their 15th straight competitive win. Germany went ahead in the 39th minute through Lahm but a Samaras equaliser in the 55th followed a flurry of goals from the German camp to seal the semi-final berth. Salpingidis added another in the 89th from the penalty spot but it was only a consolation for the Greeks.

It would be Germany against Italy or England if I checked correctly -- I'd love to see Germany play England
