I would definitely add more emoticons.

Speaking of the Sacraments, I've seen websites, blogs, etc. that compare the changes in the Mass side by side, but I've never seen a site that compares the changes in all Seven Sacraments that have taken place since Vatican II side by side. One may already exist, but I think it would be a good idea to place it here.

I also think more information should be added to the Catholics and the Animal World section. There are Saints and Biblical figures who are associated with certain animals and I'd be happy to provide you with those stories. Here's a smattering of them:

The raven and dove Noe released to see if the waters of the Flood receded.

The whale that swallowed Jonas.

The dog that followed St. Raphael and Tobias.

The raven that supplied the prophet Elias with food.

Locusts that served as food to St. John the Baptist.

The two lions who dug the grave of St. Paul the first hermit.

The dog that led St. Margaret of Cortona to her lover's grave.

The doe that fed St. Giles.

And many more!

To add to Crusader King's list (although these might already be on the website)

St. Jerome and the lion
St. Eustache and the stag
St. Francis and brother wolf
St. Anthony preaching to the fish
St. Martin de Porres and the mice

Anyway I like that idea too! Smile

My needs are simple, just an emoticon that is sad but not crying.

And I second being able to unfollow/unsubscribe from threads.

Someone asked for that a while back and I flipped the smile on our old emoticon.

But that's just an image link...not overly convenient.

Now let me see a minute here....  According to St. Athansius' Life of St. Antony it was St. Antony who buried St. Paul, which is why Antony is patron of gravediggers.

Technically speaking, smileys represent the human face very poorly.

I think it's okay.

I think it's most important to make sure the website and forum are running in the most resource and cost efficient manner possible.

I don't think we need new features, really - I find that less is more when it comes to that kind of thing.

The only thing I can think of that could be improved is that sometimes people post some very bad language on the forum, and that is not good for a number of reasons.  It certainly does not present traditional Catholics in a good way for anyone who might be reading, especially children and people thinking of converting.  It would be nice if people would censor themselves, but in the absence of that, I would like to see that kind of thing removed when it is posted.

St. Anthony of the desert buried St. Paul the Hermit, but it was the two lions who actually dug the grave.
