This dawned on me this morning. In the Benedictine Office is this when leaving the choir;

V. Divinum auxilium ✝ maneat semper nobiscum.
R. Et cum fratribus nostris absentibus. Amen.

         -or-

V. May the divine help ✝ remain with us always
R. And with our brothers, who are absent. Amen.

I think you guys may have the same problem as me. I don't get to some hours, especially Terce,Sext, and None. I have omitted the nocturns as well. So I recite Lauds, Prime, Vespers, and Compline. I propose we band together and cover all the hours that are missed in each day. Some of you recite the Divino Afflatu, 1962 version, Benedictine, or any other. Since we are lay people, I don't think it matters which version as much as completing the hours. So maybe we can share what we normally miss in our fave versions. The Benedictine Nocturns can be onerous, considering the time it takes, especially Sundays.  Maybe we can split it between two or three on Sunday. We could make a lay reciters guild and cover the hours, even using the V. and R. I've shown to include us all.

What do guys think ? Okay give it your best.

the Knights do something similar. each month a roster comes out that shows which Hour each member recites on each day.
The Hours are broken up like this: Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce-Sext, None, Vespers, Compline.
The rotation goes in such a manner that each member completes a full Office once a week.
So eg. if I have Matins on Tuesday then Wednesday will be Lauds, Thursday will be Prime &c.
And every Hour is covered so if I say Matins on Tuesday then also on Tuesday the next man will say Lauds abd the next man Prime &c. and their respective roster will carry on each day as described above.
This way each member completes a full Office each week while the group as a collective unit complete the entire Office daily.

I'm open to anything as long as it gets the complete Office done each day. I really don't think it matters if we pray 1962, 1911, 1910, 1560, or the Benedictine. My intention was to get 'er done, and make it easy enough for none of us to fail. If we can come together and get it covered and agree on some sort of lay group, we can check the details with a priest and see what happens. It could be like the old monks at the heart of the Church but we here at the heart of the Fisheaters.  Our intentions could be for all Fisheaters, past, present, and future, as well as their families, all benefactors. It could be more than that.

Tim, might this be a good time for those of us who would like to take baby steps toward learning the Office, to start?  Or would it be better to have some familiarity with the Office before making a commitment like this?

I think we should set a strict Horarium so folks know when they could participate and unite their prayers with those of thers.

If you're new to the Office, you could take one of the little Hours, which are shorter and less complicated. Terce, Sext, and None are only about 5 minutes each.

I'd do that.  I just don't have a breviary, and would need to know where in the www I might find it.
