In the past couple of weeks I have lashed out at a lot of people here and other places. I could blame it on the stress I am under but there really is no excuse other than I am a lousy sinner. I just made a confession today so hopefully I can put this behind me and move on without lashing out at people.

Way to go! We can't know what it's like to be in your shoes right now. Keep the faith, keep hope, and walk the path. God bless!

Unless it absorbs the gift of the Spirit through faith, the mind has the ability to know God, but lacks the light necessary for that knowledge. This unique gift which is in Christ is offered in its fullness to everyone. It is everywhere available, but it is given to each man in proportion to his readiness to receive it. Its presence is fuller, the greater a man's desire to be worthy of it. This gift will remain with us until the end of the world, and will be our comfort in the time of waiting.

I think there are very few that would really blame you.  I think you're doing a great job of getting through this.  God bless! Pray

"The Catholic priest is simultaneously the victim offered on the altar.  All the older, traditional ceremonies of the Roman Rite underscore this foundational dimension of the Mass. If we don’t see that relationship of priest, altar, and victim in every Holy Mass, then the way Mass has been celebrated has failed.  If we don’t look for that relationship, then we are not really Catholic.  Mass is Calvary."

We don't know the trial you are facing, and I doubt I would do better. My ma died in the house during the day, and my little sister found her and the police came. My brother the third youngest, could not face the fact she had died. One of the policemen was from the old neighborhood, and my brother flew into him, blaming him for not being there quick enough to save her. Thank God you are not like him. He proceeded to fist fight with him. He was doing a very good job of it, too. It took me and a policeman I grew up with to seperate him. He should have gone to Bridewell, but the policeman gave him a pass. Some men have problems with grieving.

It looks like we all have something in common...we are unfortunately, all good sinners...I know sinning is the one thing I do well...I wish that wasn't the case.
