Thank you Tweepy and all who have prayed for us.  I will pray very much for a successful conception for you, and a beautiful baby to be after the sorrow of two losses in a row for you.  I hope it is God's will to bless you with another child.  Sometimes I think He may allow a Catholic just a little more in the way of suffering, because we can offer this for the good of the entire Church.  When I lost Gloria Maria (the name I gave to the child I miscarried and the name I use on this website so as to remember her and honor Our Lady) I conceived again 40 days and 40 nights after the loss.  I thought that(the significant number) was His way of reminding me that He's right here, in control of everything.  Holding the whole world in existance!

I am at 14 weeks tomorrow and feel like I am out of the danger zone for this one.  Deo Gratias!

I would like to say thank you to Tweepy and everyone else that may have prayed for us. I had an ultrasound yesterday  and so far things look good, the baby's heart is beating and my OB is positive about this.

You all are in my prayers.

Thank you,

Andrea

Thanks be to God for the joyous news that Gloria Maria and Andrea have received! May you both continue to be blessed with healthy pregnancies and successful births. God hears our prayers. How blessed we are that God listens to His children - especially when we unite our suffering with the Lord's suffering. I will continue to pray for all the pregnant women on this board daily (and for Grumpy Troll's aunt). Please keep praying for me too - I pray to follow in your footsteps on this journey to motherhood...May God's peace be with us all.

We are trying to conceive over the next 48 hours under the close supervision of our doctor. As some of you may recall, I have had two miscarriages previously - and no live children YET. I feel blessed to be able to (hopefully) conceive at this time, because today (Oct. 15th) is national "Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day." At 7pm tonight there will be candlelit vigil all around the world to remember the babies that have died through miscarriage, still birth, or infancy and to pray for the families who have endured these losses. I ask anyone who reads this to please pray that God will indeed bless me with "new life" and a happy, healthy, and successful pregnancy. Thank you so much! Know that I will be praying for each of you too. All things are possible with God. I am trusting God and moving forward...I pray that this time next year I will be holding my baby in my arms.

Hello, all: My husband and I ask for your prayers; I just had a positive pregnancy test but haven't been to the doctor yet.  This is our first pregnancy so we're a little shocked and amazed but very happy.  It's a whole new kind of worry, I'm realizing.  Thanks very much, and I'm praying for all of you as well.

"Kalen" my prayers are with you and your husband. May God bless you with a healthy pregnancy. I am praying that next week I, too, will have a positive pregnancy test. After two miscarriages, it would mean everything to me to finally be blessed with a successful pregnancy. Thank you for your prayers.
