Hey all,

Does anyone know of any good books on how to make a good confession? Especially books on how to do an examination of conscience?

  Thanks

Hmm... I don't know about examinations of conscience, there was a big old "official" list of sins that was made up by a priest, and somebody posted on the old forum. Also, you can find examinations of conscience in many prayerbooks. Here is a decent one. http://catholicshowcase.com/notes/Retreat_Ch5.pdf

As for books to help make a good confession, I've not read many... However, there is a booklet put out by TAN called "Confession: A Little Book for the Reluctant" which is very good, and I highly recommend it.
