I go to Mass there, as well.

Fr. Novak: AMAZING priest. Best I've ever met, in my life. Wonderful confessor, though strict. He gives the greatest sermons, too. Very charismatic, but in a good way.

The Mass: Really long, but truly heaven on earth.

Schooling: As already said, there is not a parish school, but the homeschooling families do work together a lot. The catechism classes are very well done and run until the end of high school for each student.

The Archdiocese:  Better than some, I would say. Bp. Jugis doesn't allow the indult, but is very conservative in other matters. Please don't send your kids to Catholic schools. I am a sophomore at our "great" Catholic college. The SSPX is the only reason I survive school, as do my fellow Abbey Traditionalists. All I've heard from kids who did attend Catholic grade and high school is that they are unorthodox and largely heretical (as is my college.)

St. Anthony's is also the most warm parish I have ever attended. The people go out of their way to make visitors and new people feel welcome, or so I have observed.

There is normally a Saturday low Mass, as well. Sundays include a low and sung Mass with a lot of time for confessions (as Fr. Novak takes a good while with each person) beforehand (and afterwards if necessary.)

I really hope that you come visit. (I'd love to meet you!)

Thanks for the information Agnes. I look forward to coming down for a visit. I'm also excited to finally celebrate Mass in a Church and not in a former seminary.

Can't wait to go!

See Eric, Alex and Leo in concert perform hits like "Running from the Indult", "Pour some Holy Water on me","Pope Michael don't you lose my number" and the classic, "To all the EMHC's I've loved before"

Do you know a bald guy named Adam, early 30's, that attends St. Anthony's?

Adam's a really close friend of mine, how do you know him?

Job market in charlotte is good, especially if you're in construction.

I met him through another site. Never met the guy in person, but I have talked with on the phone and chat.  Are you one the "band of brothers" that was featured in the Regina Coeli report a few months back?
