Guys,

How about you lend me a hand? Since this is the roast part of the forum, you might be willing to critique some of my internet adobe skills. Be gentle, but be honest and let me know what you like or don't (it is for my upcoming website). Now if only I knew how to make them all the same size! Smile

I like all four pictures to be honest. The first one of one of our greatest popes of all time. The next one is a portrait of our Lord on the cross by Diego Velasquez that I do like as well, for Velasquez is one of the great artists. Hilaire Belloc indeed was a great Catholic writer and statesman. And finally what a beautiful depiction (that I know used to be your avatar) of our Blessed Mother, although in sorrow. Keep all those pictures for your site, I say.

Oh and I did not see the medallion before of that other great pope we all know about.

Those are really nice.  I wish I could do something like that.

The bottom one is a bit pixelated, but it would be very nice smaller I'm sure.

Are you using Photoshop to modify the images?

If you need some tips, drop me a PM - I've been working with Photoshop since 1997.

They're lovely! The last one is too grainy, though.

Are you going to post those pics of Spain soon? (hint, hint)

Yes, I'm going to rescan that prayercard so it doesn't come out so bad.

A couple of the pictures from Spain are in the Ireland thread from Arts and Entertainment.

I have to dedicate myself to going through my slides and scanning a lot of them. I have been so busy with content for my site that I haven't had the chance.

I have a picture of La Sagradia Familia and Montserrat Abbey in that thread though.

Looking good!

Personnally I would try a warmer golden hue for the medallion.

Nice job.

Thanks. Point well taken.

Do you guys think I should add colour to this or leave it alone?
