CNN Mishap?

if  this  is  a true incident, i would guess  it was an intentional act,  whether, a lone person or a few people, or even an approved  higher up mangement decision. but  to say it was a technical glitch is, to just right it off. im no expert, but a tech. glitch, which i dont think it was, at that moment  of a v.p. speech is pretty,suspicious. and any tech,  glitch  would not generate such a symbol/message.  i wouldnt  think..

Much ado about nothing. Looks like a glitch to me by the overshadowing of a double image over the words at the bottom of the screen by something black as well.

A careful review of the tape now shows a white colored  'X' was also transposed over Cheney's face during the speech, it  appeared for less than 1/15 of a second, creating a startling flash  effect. CNN spokeswoman Laurie Goldberg emails: "We concluded this was  a technological malfunction not an issue of operator error. A portion  of the switcher experienced a momentary glitch. We obviously regret  that it happened and are working on the equipment to ensure it is not  repeated."

  Come on, lets not be so naive.
  All of these stations are nothing more than propoganda outlets. We are being manipulated every single time you turn that box on.
  They just got caught, the only technical glitch is they probably  intended the "X" to be in one or two frames for a subliminal effect and  it stayed too long so it became visible.

Speaking of CNN messing up, anyone remember during the Democratic National Convention, when one of the guy's voices was heard when the balloons weren't dropping down?

To their defense though... Live TV nearly 24 hours a day is bound to produce a few incidents once in a while.
