The problem is scandal... I found the clip pretty funny, but I had/have no idea who the person at the beginning of the clip is. For all I know, it's just some random guy who likes to have fun with people at truck stops. Therefore, there was obviously something innately funny in the clip to cause me to laugh, other than the association with that fellow. Notwithstanding, if that guy is a disgusting modern "entertainer" pervert, and you are very familiar with this fact, then yeah, it'd probably ruin the whole clip for you, that's just a fact of life. Some people will find it funny, others who know about the history of the people who made it won't be so amused.

I see that some of you have given up your sense of humor for Lent....

Sorry for being such a downer and going against the grain here, JLeigh.

I'm just curious, would it make any difference if it were Marilyn Manson, or Hugh Hefner at the beginning of the clip?

As a side, I always find it interesting how the bad people watch and eat it up and how the good people watch and scoff at the bad parts.  Apparently, if there's amusement in between, then not watching is not an option (not referring to this particular clip).

I didnt think my disapproving of an entertainer who promotes every kind of sodomy imaginable would be seen as a lack of humor.  But its a typical response.

All I saw was a funny clip. I didn't do a backround check on the person performing in the clip. I don't even know what the heck you are talking about, as I have never even heard of, much less watched, the entertainer you are describing. Furthermore, if you don't want to watch the clip, or find it offensive due to your knowledge of the entertainer, then don't watch it. It isn't necessary to go off on a tangent that may have the unfortunate effect of making the person who posted it feel like a jerk.

Also, since some of us didn't know that the entertainer in question "promotes every kind of sodomy imaginable", was it necessary to put such thoughts in our heads? Was there a point to it? Were you trying to edify us? It can't be because you were trying to warn us not to watch his regular program because he is so foul - who among this group would do that anyway?

Right.  And I suspect my lack of humor is interpreted as a scolding.  But I express my disapproval for the very reason that some easily influenced young people (corola's target audience) who are familiar with him do not get mixed signals.

I didnt mean for my comments to be taken personally, I apologize for using the wrong tone.

The easily influenced young lurking here.

My knowledge of corola comes from a time I was flipping thru stations and came across his show in which a 14-year-old Catholic girl called in to get advice about a pressuring boyfriend of hers.

My response to the clip was impulsive.  I did not mean to be inconsiderate, Mark.  Loved the cat clip though.

That was hilarious! It reminds me of a mis-spent night a couple summers ago! One of my friends were pretty intoxicated and passed out! I had passed a dead deer earlier that day and it had just been hit or killed, so I got a bunch of guys to go with me and get the deer in our drunk friends truck and then put it on the hood of his truck and left it there for him to find! Needless to say it was extremely funny to tell him the fake story on how he hit the deer!

Oh, and I didn't have to touch the deer the farm boys took care of that, but it was my mean little plan!

One more thing! Why do people have to make such a big deal out of something that is obviously meant to be funny?

Hey, where's the video? People want to see it... (and, no, it doesn't make any difference where it came from; Caravaggio the manslaughterer still made great paintings).

The link doesn't seem to be working.

I have no idea what the "man show" is, but I was looking forward to watching that video.  I waited until now to watch it and now it isn't there anymore.  What a bummer.
